Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering can be one of the most rewarding things you can do with your time. Over 200 volunteers at Georgetown Hospital System are giving back to the community and making a difference! Volunteers are usually the first smiling faces you see when you enter one of our hospitals. Located at the Information Desks, they are eager to direct you to the proper department and help you find your way around the facility.

At Georgetown Memorial Hospital, Waccamaw Community Hospital and other facilities within the Georgetown Hospital Family, volunteers, like employees, are “part of our family.” This vibrant, active group of men and women annually donate thousands and thousands of service hours to Georgetown County community hospitals and associated facilities.
